Boxes and Shippers

All products come in shippers. How the shipper packaging supports the main brand is important. Sometimes the box is low-budget and quickly discarded but other times it becomes an essential part of in store merchandising. Designing for the correct scenario and getting the most impactful brand representation is something that takes experience. Depending on the budget, sometimes the box cannot be a full-blown four-color showcase but that doesn’t stop me from giving it 100% of my design effort to try to get the most dynamic packaging possible. Having worked on boxes for years I understand the fundamentals of prepress such as bleeds, scores, glue areas and using GCMI color pallet versus Pantone when required.
