Creating an Identity for a company is an interesting challenge. By designing their mark I am creating their brand, a face, how the world will see them. I have worked on many logos, distilling the company’s character down to an iconic representation of who they are. Sometimes less is more and a clean typographic treatment is the best answer. Sometimes more of a story needs telling and therefore something more illustrative is in order. After establishing the identity, I often help to advance its’ use by creating stylistic guides and/or formatting various uses such as business cards.
