Spirits projects are fun to work on. They need many different approaches and techniques. Some brands are going for an old world look because some are a new specialty item looking for a catchy pop. Regardless of what the creative brief entails, I enjoy wrapping my brain around it and coming up with the most awesome deliverables possible! Working on domestic spirits projects offers more latitude than imported. When working with United States vendors there is more opportunity to explore label shape and interesting printing techniques. Attending press checks and managing quality control is also much easier. Some of my most successful packaging designs are domestic brands!
